HOLIDAY MADNESS by Kristin Halloween was pretty funny. Emily is scared to death of masks, Jack-o-lanterns, ghosts, skeletons and anything else remotely weird-looking, but she did better at trick-or-treating than we thought she would. She went as a clown (I'm wondering if I didn't really have to buy her a costume for that) and Lia was Zorra (the female Zorro). They were both so cute! Emily chased Lia down the sidewalk at almost every house we stopped at, never tiring and always excited that she was getting candy! We had to stop her from eating it right then and there, and from trying to go inside everybody's house. We spent Thanksgiving at my Aunt JoAnn's home in Susanville. It was so wonderful to be able to see my family that I don't get to visit very often. I miss them so much in between the holidays and wish I could see them more than once a year. The spirit of love and family was so strong that day and all I can say is I'm glad to have these wonderful people in my life. Emily fit right in with them, running from one aunt or uncle to the next, getting in trouble, keeping me on my toes, but it was fun. She really loved cuddling with Granddad! Lia missed her cousins that weren't able to make it, but was glad Casie was there (I hope I spelled her name right) and she was sad to leave. Lost Treasurers by Dennis He was born March 28, 1975 at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA and had lived in the Reno/Sparks area for the last 9 years. He moved to this area with his family from Alaska. Brian was a full-time student at the University of Nevada Reno and was attending there on scholarship. Last semester he made the Dean's List for his academic excellence. He was a teacher's assistant at Truckee Meadows Community Collage in the Math department. He is survived by his grandmother Doris Przybyla of Palo Alto, CA; parents Paul and Rebecca of Reno, NV; brothers Dennis and Roger of Reno, NV, and brother Craig who is serving on a mission in Yekaterinburg Russia mission. Brian was an excellent teacher. He helped many students to understand the hard concepts of math. He was very rough on the outside but on the inside he had a heart of gold. He was stubborn as an ox and was very opinionated. He will be missed by all who knew him well. A grave side service was held on Friday the 18th of June at 2 o'clock at Mountain View Cemetery |
The Family Tree by Dennis What I really want to do is find out more about each individual in the family tree. In my effort to get more information on the people in the family tree I have included a pedigree on your family of all the information I have collected. Please add to this and send it back so I can update my database. To see the progress that I have made please visit The Przybyla Family at www.softcom.net/users/theprizfam/ The Przybyla Family by Dennis The webring has been implemented and is ready for people to join. If you have a web site and would like to be included in the webring please visit my site and submit your site by using the form provided. To stay up on the latest Przybyla family news or to be able to send news to all of us easily please join the Przybyla family email loop. I have to admit there hasn't been much traffic on the loop but that is probably because there are only four people in the loop. I am going to begin sending out information about updates to The Przybyla Family website. If anyone has a desire to work on part of the website please contact me and we can figure out what we want to do. Lia's Corner by Lia I love homeschooling. I am learning how to tell time and I am learning about money. I am practicing my writing and spelling by writing this letter. I love my swimming lessons, although I get water up my nose and I feel like I an having a heart attack. I have learned how to dive into the water. I can swim under the water. The teacher won't let us plug our nose when we do "bobs". We want to wish all our
family and friends a wonderful holiday season and the
best New Year ever! |
